Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is used to treat spider veins and reticular veins. During the procedure, a tiny needle is used to inject the veins with an FDA-approved sclerosant that irritates the lining of the vein. In response, the veins collapse, seal shut and are reabsorbed by the body. The number of sclerotherapy treatments needed varies depending on the number, size and type of veins being treated. After your treatment, you will be required to wear compression stockings daily for 2 weeks.
